SHI Success Stories

Billing under the FCCC Administrative Services Agreement CB-194-16, we have utilized SHI professional services for two large scale projects. In 2020 we have leveraged SHI services to assist with an on prem to O365 migration. More recently in 2021 we engaged SHI services for a Microsoft End Point Manager POC with SCCM and Intune end point management being the focus. From contracts to handoff and most importantly knowledge transfer, SHI has been professional responsive, and customer focused. SHI has been an invaluable partner in Kern Community College District’s (KCCD) journey to the cloud since 2019. Throughout this relationship, our AWS Support, Cost Optimization, and Professional Services teams have continued to closely collaborate with KCCD and adapt to their evolving needs, continuing to grow the partnership. SHI manages AWS billing for KCCD under the CA CMAS agreement 3-19-70-2905C and handles AWS discounts given to academia by AWS. Our Cloud Cost Optimization team has helped KCCD achieve significant cost savings by advising on operational best practices, right-sizing recommendations, and purchasing commitments to ensure the deepest discounts possible. Our AWS Professional Services agreement provides strategic consulting and implementation services to KCCD on an as-needed basis across a range of disciplines including Security, Backup and Recovery, Logging and Analytics, and overall AWS architecture.
